Laura Garcia is the creator and facilitator for BABY & ME. She is a Parent Support Specialist and Group facilitator. 

 

Laura has been a therapist for over 10 years, working with children, adolescents and families. She also has expertise in the areas of maternal/perinatal mental health, early childhood development (birth through age 5), parent-child relationships, and the emotional and mental wellbeing of individuals and families. She recently completed the educational requirements to become a certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist through Postpartum Support International. Laura’s therapeutic approach is to connect with moms by validating their experience, providing a safe and nonjudgmental space to vent, discuss and learn new ways to cope with the challenges of motherhood. Her passion for working with mothers and parents emerged after becoming a mom herself - she is the mother to 3 young boys and is passionate about helping other moms through parenthood.
